Ubisoft have released a brand new trailer to celebrate today’s launch of the “Hidden Ones” DLC for Assassin’s creed Origins.
The expansion, which releases today, picks up 4 years after AC Origins and sees Bayek face off against a Roman force as well as a mysterious group called the Hidden Ones. It is set in the Sinai Peninsula in a mountainous region of Egypt, with the Mediterranean Sea to the north and the Red Sea to the south. Players are advised to be at least level 40 before setting off into the new land, with the level cap being increased to 45 (and 55 in the next DLC). The new content is free for owners of the Season Pass or can be purchased for $9.99 separately.
The DLC brings with it new mounts, legendary items and outfits to equip Bayek with. As well as the Hidden Ones story, Ubisoft are releasing the Discovery Tour, which allows players to explore ancient Egypt while learning all about it. It’s a combat-free educational mode which is free for owners of the base game or available for $19.99 on its own.
Another DLC, The Curse of the Pharaohs, is set for release on March 6 and pits Bayek against undead Pharaohs and mythical beasts. The DLC will be included with the Season Pass or $19.99 on its own.
Check out the launch trailer below (more Aya and Bayek!) and be sure to stay tuned for our impressions on the upcoming DLC.
