PUBG Aims to Launch on “Every Platform” According to PUBG Corp CEO Chang Han Kim

During an interview with Inven Global, PUBG Corp CEO Chang Han Kim revealed the company’s plans to eventually launch the game on every platform. Kim was pressed on the possibility of a PlayStation launch of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and had this to say in response;

“As it’s going to be an exclusive title on Xbox One for some time, we’d like to focus on completing the Xbox One PUBG for now. If we have the opportunity, the final goal would be to launch the title on every platform.”

While this statement could certainly be taken as merely speculative it does at least highlight the company’s willingness to explore other hardware. Many players are already discussing the possibility of a Nintendo Switch release which would allow the game to be played in handheld, on the go.

We will have to wait and see whether or not the game makes its way to PlayStation and other devices this year but with the game just launching out of Early Access last month it is safe to say it will continue to dominate the conversation well into 2018.
